It is estimated that up to 6% of the US population suffers with a gluten sensitivity. Granny always tried her best to cater to everyone. She never wanted anyone to be left out or feel like they were different. We continue to make our handmade brittle just like granny did.

    Granny’s Confections focuses on quality and ensuring we use only the best ingredients.  No artificial flavors or colors are used in any of our premium handmade brittle or caramel popcorn. By focusing on what we do best (handmade brittle and caramel popcorn), we do not allow any items containing gluten into our kitchens. We only make two main products: brittle and caramel popcorn. This allows us to know exactly what ingredients we are buying, and what ingredients we are using.

  • What is Gluten?

    Gluten is a general name for the proteins found in wheat (wheatberries, durum, emmer, semolina, spelt, farina, farro, graham, KAMUT® khorasan wheat and einkorn), rye, barley and triticale – a cross between wheat and rye.     Granny's Confections does not make any products that contain gluten. As a matter of fact, our handmade brittle contains only six ingredients.

    Our Caramel Popcorn is made with air-popped popcorn , then coated with our handmade brittle and safflower oil is added in the process to reduce sticking.
